Tutoring Australasia takes the privacy of its clients seriously.

1. Tutoring Australasia complies with all aspects of the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act, 1988 and in particular the privacy requirements for organisations that share information with contractors.
2. Our clients trust us to assist their students and families (end users) with their homework, assignment research, study skills and revision and exam preparation, and we want to be clear that we can be trusted with the management of personal information.
3. Tutoring Australasia is engaged in the provision of individualised, one-to-one tuition services to its end-users via its proprietary, Internet technology.
4. To provide such services it is necessary for Tutoring Australasia to collect certain personal identification details from its Clients. Clients include schools and other educational institutions and End Users include students, their parents, carers, and guardians.
5. As detailed in our contractual agreements with our Clients, the personal information Tutoring Australasia collects includes:
   1. Students: name, year level, boarder/day student, school e-mail address, preferred e-mail address
   2. Parents, carers, and guardians: name, postal address, home telephone number and e-mail address
6. Tutoring Australasia may also, from time to time, ask end users for their feedback to improve the Service, and may also send periodic newsletters via e-mail about the Service.
7. Tutoring Australasia collects the above information strictly for the provision of customer service and technical support for its clients. By providing such information, Clients and End Users agree that the Company may contact them from time to time for the provision of essential customer and technical services in support of its delivery of the yourtutor service. The Company never uses such information for any other purposes nor shares this information with any other entities, corporate or otherwise, unless required to do so for the purposes of compliance with a court order or other legal obligation.
8. Tutoring Australasia will share essential usage data by the End Users of its service with its Clients, via the provision of a monthly report. In other words, where our school Clients have purchased a site license to the yourtutor service, they will have access to, and knowledge of, individual student usage patterns. This includes the content of student learning sessions and any comments left in post-session surveys.
9. Tutoring Australasia may also disclose personal identification information to school clients where we believe personal safety is at risk and it is a reasonable action to take to protect someone from possible injury.
10. Tutoring Australasia voluntarily removes, deletes, and destroys all personal contact information for relevant End Users at the termination of contracts with individual Clients.
